Cleanroom technology – Automated production in a clean environment
High demands on hygiene and process reliability mean that more and more plastic products are being produced under cleanroom conditions. As people are the number one source of contamination in Cleanroom, a high degree of automation is a great advantage here.
The cleanroom system CleanMediCell® cleanroom system from SCHILLING ENGINEERING has been specially developed for demanding product protection in the manufacture of medical technology components or pharmaceutical packaging. The entire manufacturing process for sensitive products must be absolutely flawless and free of any contamination.
Controlled cleanroom conditions and a high level of automation lead to a significant increase in process reliability. Virtually no intervention in the machines is permitted during production and the machines themselves must not carry any particles into the Cleanroom. Injection blow molding and blow molding machines, for example, are usually equipped with special laminar flow enclosures and set up outside the cleanroom. The machines are docked at Cleanroom, where final testing and packaging are carried out. The sensitive goods are transported via fully automated conveyor belts and airlocks. The automated systems have a reliability of more than 99.9%, are easy to clean and have extremely low air leakage. Bag filling systems, which are customized to the process, prevent any contamination during packaging.
The cleanroom system CleanMediCell® cleanroom system is operated with energy-efficient, innovative recirculation technology in which the already filtered and cooled air is reused for air exchange. The low-maintenance ULPA high-performance filters, the high degree of tightness of the system and the flush-mounted LED lighting also contribute to lower energy consumption. Wall and ceiling elements are connected with a silicone-free sealing clip system and can be flexibly extended and modularly converted.
