Cleanroom tents: hot or scrap?

The truth about the use of cleanroom tents

Our customers always have concerns when I mention our cleanroom tents in my consultations. These concerns can quickly turn out to be expensive misunderstandings if Cleanroom tent solutions (flexible wall cabin/canopy/etc.) are carelessly underestimated. This usually involves the following points:

👉 “”Cleanroom tents are only suitable for short-term use.”
Short-term is relative. Once in operation, many tents stand for decades and reliably do what they are supposed to do. It is not a temporary solution, but rather a very simple and flexible technical solution with the best price-performance ratio – at least if you invest in a high-quality product.

👉”Cleanroom tents are not stable.”
That depends on the design. Essentially, however, you can say that the tents are very stable and can be operated for many years or, in our case, moved several times. Some are already in second or even third use. As these cabins are generally not exposed to the weather, moving them is the only potential “danger” – although this is also not an issue with the correct dismantling.

👉”Cleanroom tents do not offer high air purity”
Our cleanroom tents can be used as a fully-fledged cleanroom system. Thanks to the high-performance filters, we can easily achieve all classes up to ISO 5. Although no overpressure is generated in the tent solutions, only an overflow principle is used, this has no influence on the cleanliness, which is achieved through appropriate air exchange rates and very good filters.

Conclusion: With their low costs, high scalability and maximum flexibility, HOT
cleanroom tents can be a clever alternative to a Cleanroom. This potential should definitely be taken seriously!
