How can produced packaging parts be removed fully automatically from the cleanroom be discharged fully automatically without jeopardizing cleanliness?


Conventional material pass-trhoughs often require manual handling, which is time-consuming and increases the risk of contamination. The customer needed a solution that:


  • Fully automatic operation – without manual intervention
  • Highest purity standards fulfilled – without particle entry
  • Efficiency and safety combined – for trouble-free processes

 

Solution: Customized conveyor belt system with clean air filtration

Our engineers developed a special solution that meets all the requirements:


  • Three separate conveyor belts with automatic control of lifting doors as airlock function
  • Enclosed conveyor belt that automatically passes through the material pass-trhough
  • Seamless integration into the cleanroom process

 


This is how the system works:


  1. Production: The packaging parts are shrink-wrapped in bags directly after production and transferred to the conveyor belt.
  2. Enclosure: The entire conveyor section is closed to prevent particle emissions.
  3. Protection through passive air flow: Two automatically controlled lifting doors enable airlock control per bag and prevent air short circuits. The chambers are passively purged by the clean room pressure.
  4. Automated ejection: An intelligent control system guarantees that the gates remain alternately closed so that no particles enter from outside.
