SCHILLING ENGINEERING® - Cleanroom systems

What is the difference between a Cleanroom and a CNC Cleanroom?

Clean rooms and cleanrooms are rooms in which the air quality and particle load are controlled in order to protect products and processes from contamination and prevent quality losses. Both designs are similar in terms of their basic structure.

The two types differ primarily in the maximum permissible particle size and therefore in the dimensioning of the ventilation and filter technology. Whether a Cleanroom is required or a CNC Cleanroom is sufficient depends on the process. If a particle size of 5 µm in the air does not absolutely have to be avoided, an CNC Cleanroom is a good solution.
