With the law amending narcotics law, which came into force in 2017, the legislature expanded the options for prescribing cannabis medicinal products in Germany. Since then, doctors have been able to prescribe medicinal cannabis flowers or cannabis extract in pharmaceutical quality on a narcotic prescription. In each European country the regulations are still different. While cannabis products have only been imported into Germany so far because cultivation is still prohibited, the processing of cannabis for medical purposes is now expected to be approved towards the end of 2020.
In almost all countries, however, processing is subject to the legal standards of pharmaceutical processing, which are currently only met under cleanroom conditions. Production in our SCHILLING ENGINEERING cleanrooms protects the natural product from germ contamination and guarantees a hygienic and legally compliant delivery of medical cannabis
