Laminar flow cabinets
& flow boxes
Our CleanProCel laminar flow cabinets and laminar flow boxes use innovative filter technology and optimized air flow to ensure a safe environment for your cleanroom workstation. The workbenches and table tops offer maximum product and personal protection in a small space and are particularly suitable for sensitive production and measuring tasks as a separate clean air area.
Developed for critical work areas in cleanrooms, they use state-of-the-art laminar flow technology to generate a uniform air flow that effectively minimizes particles and contamination. Use the flow boxes as a quick solution for a protected process or to selectively increase the cleanroom class within your cleanroom.

FAQ
Workplaces
How does a laminar flow box work?
A filter fan unit is integrated into the ceiling of the laminar flow box. The ambient air is drawn in via a pre-filter and then flows vertically into the work area as a laminar air flow via a high-performance class U15 HEPA filter. This laminar air flow moves continuously over the work surface and carries airborne particles to the outside, ensuring a contamination-free working environment.
For which application is a laminar flow box suitable?
A laminar flow box is the right choice when a precise and controlled working environment is required. Such a laminar flow workbench is particularly suitable for sensitive processes or precision work, as it offers precise control over airflow and effective particle removal. In addition, cleanroom workbenches can selectively increase the cleanroom class in existing cleanrooms, making them an ideal solution for applications where the highest standards of cleanliness are required.
Flow box or laminar flow cabinet (cleanroom workbench)? What is the difference?
The difference between our cleanroom workbench made of aluminum and our laminar flow boxes made of melamine lies in the material, the design and the area of application.
The workbenches consist of an aluminum frame with glass walls in which the FFUs and work surface are permanently integrated. The height of the workstation can be selected for seated or standing work. They are also suitable for applications that require GMP class A and B specifications.
The melamine flow boxes are practical laminar flow attachments with integrated FFUs that can be placed on your tables. We are happy to supply matching cleanroom tables, also in a height-adjustable version.
What needs to be prepared before commissioning?
The laminar flow boxes and clean room workbenches are supplied ready for use. They simply need to be set up and connected to the power supply (conventional 230V socket).
Do laminar flow boxes require maintenance?
Yes, a laminar flow box requires regular maintenance to maintain optimum performance and sterility. Maintenance includes checking and, if necessary, replacing the filters and cleaning the work surface and external surfaces to ensure a contamination-free environment.
Is it possible to rent the laminar flow box from SCHILLING ENGINEERING?
You have the option of renting our melamine flow box in 1260 mm width for one month. After that, the rental price can be offset against the purchase price if you decide to take delivery of the laminar flow box.
