Pioneers of cleanroom technology
In the 1990s, when cleanrooms were still less common, our founder Günther Schilling recognized the need for particle-free environments and developed Germany’s first room-in-room cleanroom system in his garage. This innovative system laid the foundation for Schilling Engineering GmbH.
Today, with around 80 employees at its headquarters in Wutöschingen, the company is run by Ute and Gaby Schilling, who took over the management in 2023.
Numerous awards, including the Großer Preis des Mittelstandes (2020) and the Oskar Patzelt Foundation’s badge of honor (2022), as well as the LEA Mittelstandspreis and the Wirtschaftsmagnet (2021/22), confirm our success.
