We are a medium-sized family business based in Wutöschingen in southern Baden. In our rural area, things are a little quieter and more informal and everyone in our company still knows everyone else. However, this does not mean that time has stood still for us. On the contrary, we develop and produce cleanroom technology at the highest level and with state-of-the-art equipment. For our special achievements as an employer, we were therefore recognized as a top employer by TOB JOB in 2023 and as an employer of the future by diind in 2024.

A pioneer in cleanroom technology for over 25 years
In the 1990s, when cleanrooms were still less common, our founder Günther Schilling recognized the need for particle-free environments and developed Germany’s first room-in-room cleanroom system in his garage. This innovative system laid the foundation for Schilling Engineering GmbH.
Today, with around 80 employees at its headquarters in Wutöschingen, the company is run by Ute and Gaby Schilling, who took over the management in 2023.
Numerous awards, including the Großer Preis des Mittelstandes (2020) and the Oskar Patzelt Foundation’s badge of honor (2022), as well as TOP JOB Employer (2023) and Employer of the Future (2024), confirm our success.
