We are very pleased that the concept of the modular system, with its simplicity and flexibility, has already proven itself in various applications as an optimal entry-level solution for clean production conditions.
The situation was similar for one of our most recent projects at Schwarzer Precision in Essen, Germany. The medium-sized company develops and produces miniature pumps that are used in areas such as safety technology, laboratory and analysis technology and medical technology. With the CleanEasyCell, the company entered cleanroom production in the summer.
According to Production Manager Gregor Kaminski, in order to continue to be successful in these demanding industries, it is important to continuously develop innovations and keep an eye on market trends: "We are proactively working on unique selling points in the field of miniature pumps. This includes production under clean conditions. With CleanEasyCell, we have found a good way to create a clean environment that we can even expand flexibly depending on the order situation.
The Essen-based company was particularly impressed by the modular design with expansion options offered by Schilling Engineering's modular system concept. In the newly commissioned clean room, the miniature pumps are currently being manufactured in an area of 50 square metres under ISO 8 cleanliness conditions. If demand increases, the clean room can be expanded and pump production can be easily scaled to any desired production volume. An upgrade to ISO 7 is also possible.
The new cleanroom is a milestone in Schwarzer's development, following last year's optimisation of the entire production process for efficiency according to lean production standards. The demand for a modern production environment and the highest quality standards is also reflected in the design of the new cleanroom: the fully glazed cleanroom front makes the CleanEasyCell an eye-catcher as soon as you enter the production hall. And not just visually. The many window elements ensure pleasant working conditions with plenty of daylight.
