How do you put on a cleanroom overall correctly?

A cleanroom coverall is designed specifically for environments where the highest standards of cleanliness and particle-free operation are required. Even the smallest contaminants can disrupt production processes or render end products unusable. It is therefore important to don the coverall correctly before entering the cleanroom. Proceed as shown in the video:

  • Carefully remove the coverall from its packaging. Hold only the inside of the suit.
  • Unfold the suit and keep it away from the floor. The fabric must not come into contact with the floor, your clothing or the bench.
  • Hold the inside of the sleeves and trouser legs and pull them together. Do not touch the outside.
  • Step into one gathered leg of the suit. Again, keep the coverall away from the floor and sit-over bench.
  • Step into the second leg. When stepping into the leg, make sure that the snaps are open and that your foot is fully through the elastic at the end of the leg.
  • Slip into the sleeves and allow the suit to slide over your shoulders without touching them from the outside.
  • Straighten and close the zip from the inside.
