Transitional solution with standard clean room CleanEasyCell

If the expansion of cleanroom capacities has to go quickly, simpler standard solutions such as the CleanEasyCell modular system can provide an interim solution.

When investing in a new cleanroom system, many months often pass before planning and financing are in place. Even after the contract has been awarded, patience is still required. Engineering, manufacturing, assembly and qualification of cleanroom and air-conditioning technology for customer-specific, complex cleanroom systems cannot be realized overnight.

But what happens when a quick solution has to be found? Despite all forward planning, there are production peaks and rush orders that have to be manufactured under cleanroom conditions. If cleanroom production under ISO-8 or a cleanroom is sufficient for some process steps, this work can be temporarily or permanently relocated to a simpler standard facility.

An example of a standardized cleanroom/cleanroom is provided by Schilling Engineering with its CleanEasyCell modular system. The modular system consists of prefabricated wall and ceiling elements into which filter fan units, lights and windows are fitted. Thanks to the self-supporting design, the cleanroom, which achieves ISO Class 8, can be assembled by the customer according to construction instructions and put into operation immediately.
The elements are connected with plug-in connections that can be detached again non-destructively. In this way, the cleanroom can be expanded on a modular basis or dismantled and reassembled elsewhere.

A 100-square-meter CleanEasyCell ISO Class 8 cleanroom has now gone into operation at Rohde & Schwarz Teisnach. The cleanroom microtechnology operations there need more space for the precise assembly and manufacturing processes in order to meet the demanding requirements of cleanroom assembly and measurement technology.

The quickly installed clean room passed the practical test, confirms Tobias Schedlbauer, head of micro manufacturing at Rohde & Schwarz Teisnach: "The flexibility and ease of assembly convinced us. We are very satisfied with the quality of the CleanEasyCell cleanroom."
