As built

The "as built" operating state refers to the state of a cleanroom after it has been completed, but before any equipment or furniture has been installed and without any personnel present. This state is used to verify that the room air system has been installed as intended in the specifications. The "as built" operating state is used for initial qualification of the cleanroom and no longer has any significant meaning for further operation.
