Separation efficiency
The separation efficiency describes the effectiveness of a separation process. It is defined as the ratio of the quantity of the substance to be separated (e.g. dust) entering the system (e.g. a filter) and the quantity leaving the system (e.g. dust) or of the respective concentrations.
