Swiss start-up UNISERS AG has developed an innovative technology for detecting and characterising contamination on wafers. With this new type of contamination control, chip manufacturers can identify previously undetectable particles and prevent failures. This sounds like a fascinating innovation that could save the semiconductor industry a lot of money.

With such a focus on tiny particles, it is not surprising that part of the development of UNISERS takes place under clean room conditions. With three standard mobile CleanFlowCell tents, the young company achieves an ISO 7 cleanroom production environment. The cleanroom tents were self-assembled by two employees and can be easily connected to form a larger unit. Equipped with castors, the cleanroom tents can be used flexibly.
